The mind/body connection is personified in golf.  Scores are kept on scorecards, but the true challenge is our own minds.  We measure everything in our mind, calculating how much movement each swing requires.  Our thoughts swirl with calculations and judgments of distance and it impacts our golf game.  We focus intensely causing the body to become rigid and strained without even noticing.  This, no doubt, affects rhythm which is also important.
