Meridian Peak Hypnosis offers group hypnosis/hypnotherapy sessions. These group sessions allow you to experience hypnosis with others who are also interested in improving.
In group hypnosis, the hypnotherapist gives suggestions that are effective to the group as a whole. Many who are new to hypnosis or have not had a one-on-one session enjoy a group session as an introduction to the hypnosis/hypnotherapy process.
Group sessions are great for those:

• Who are ready to stop struggling to improve
• Who like the comfort of being with others when experiencing new things
• Who would like to meet friends, share experiences and pickup tips from others
How Hypnosis Works
The hypnotherapist guides you into a state of relaxation that allows your conscious mind to lower/reduce its protective nature so we access your subconscious mind which is where change happens. The subconscious is where we introduce ‘suggestions’ in a relaxed state which your mind is very open to. We incorporate principles of Law of Attraction, along with hypnotherapy, aromatherapy and healthy living concepts for a comprehensive, holistic approach toward improvement and healing.
Group hypnosis sessions are held at the Ruah Center in Naperville. The Ruah Center is located near Ogden & Washington Street, next to the Dairy Queen and Ace Hardware at 11th & Washington. The address is: 1110 N. Washington St., Naperville, IL 60563. There is parking along the street as well as in the Ace Hardware parking lot across the street.
The Ruah Center is a house that was converted into offices and holistic meeting spaces. Meridian Peak Hypnosis uses the large conference room on the lower level for our group hypnosis experiences.
What to Bring
The room is large and open with engineered wood with a large rug in the middle of the room. There are three sofas and two anti-gravity chairs that are always first come, first serve. Everyone else sets up camp on the floor. We encourage you to think of this as going to a yoga class where you want to bring things that make you comfortable. You can bring yoga mats, a single-size inflatable air mattress, pillows, blankets, a portable antigravity chair or anything you’d like to be comfortable. Relaxed clothing for both men and women are recommended. Bring a warm blanket. Your blood pressure will safely lower as you relax (similar to feeling chilly in bed at night). The blanket makes all the difference so you relax vs. focusing on feeling cold.

Who Should Not Participate
You should not participate if you are someone who:
• Was diagnosed with a mental disorder
• Has a background of seizures or epilepsy
• Believes they cannot be hypnotized
Yes, you’ll be able to drive home
We use a state of hypnosis that is deep and effective, but at the same time after emerging you’ll be safe to drive home (many ask this question).
