Neophobia is a straightforward idea. “Phobia” refers to fear, and “neo” denotes new. All things considered, neophobia is the fear of unfamiliarity. Any unusual thing, including new foods, activities, locations, or people, can cause this fear.

Neophobia Symptoms

Avoiding New Foods or Being a Picky Eater: sticking to the same foods because you’re afraid to try new ones.
Resisting Change: Part of neophobia is a routine or habit to resisting change. New situations feel intimidating.
