A fear of meeting new people can be caused by a fear of being rejected or being timid or lacking in confidence.

Some people do their best to avoid situations where they have to go out and meet people – especially people they don’t know.

• Give the aura of being weak or not knowledgeable on the topic.
• Create issues with being assertive
• Cause the person to be less likely to take social risks
• Cause trembling, sweating, an upset stomach, racing heart or even Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
• Cause sweating, blushing, a restricted voice or a high pitched voice

These issues create feelings of embarrassment, guilt, shame, stress and anxiety.

Fear of meeting people or shyness are really a combination of social anxiety and social conditioning.

Your mind is divided into two parts: the conscious and subconscious mind.  There is a barrier between the two minds and you can break through this barrier when you are deeply relaxed in hypnosis.  You can access your subconscious mind to reprogram it to feel good and confident about yourself.  Clients come out of the deeply relaxed state feeling relaxed, more confident and having the skills needed to feel that way in social situations.
