Stop Nail Biting and Picking Using the Power of Your Mind
If you’re a nail biter there’s a good chance the habit started in childhood. Nail biting is technically called onychophagia by doctors.
Nail biting is considered socially unacceptable and unattractive. Ragged, bitten nails and the act of biting nails is not accepted by the general public.
In some cultures the practice is considered as a sign of weakness, nervousness and a lack of confidence.
Nail Biting Is A Serious Health Concern
Some people bite their nails so much that there is nothing left. Nail biting can affect your health — especially if your nails bleed from picking and biting them.
When the nail is bitten you transfer bacteria back and forth between your mouth and fingers. If you bite hangnails, infections can grow under the nail bed. You can permanently damage your nails, gums and teeth from nail biting.
Habits can be very hard to break and nail biting is no exception.
Hypnosis can help you

Using the power of hypnosis and hypnotherapy, we re-train the subconscious mind to not use nail biting as an outlet for any problem.
We will work with you to identify the contributing factors to why the nails are bitten or picked at and develop a plan using hypnosis and hypnotherapy to reduce or completely eliminate the problem.
The majority of our clients that come in for nail biting and picking solve the issue within 5 sessions, with many even fewer.
In a study in American Health Magazine, hypnosis and hypnotherapy have a 93% success rate compared with lower results from other methods of therapy which require far more sessions. Click here to learn more about hypnosis and its high success rate.
